I am so excited you've decided to audition for the DHMS 2026-27 Treble Singers! This group is select vocalists who work hard to achieve amazing things, build friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Audition applications consist of a series of four steps

that MUST be completed: Links needed are provided at the bottom.

​

1. Text @27tsingaud to 81010 to join Remind (use a parent phone if needed)

2. Bring a current picture of yourself and a copy of your school transcripts to the Choir room before your audition.

3. Sign up for your individual audition time by clicking the button below

​All auditions will be held after school in the DHMS Choir Room

 Tuesday, March 24, 2026 and Thursday, March 26, 2026

 3:00-6:00pm ​​

Please prepare a 60-second vocal solo showcasing your vocal abilities. Backtracks are allowed, but a sound system is not provided. Live accompaniment is encouraged but not provided, and singing your audition song a cappella is acceptable but not the best option.  

 

Your audition will also include a simple sight singing and rhythm passage, if you have had my choir class (I don't expect perfection).  You will then be asked to follow the piano on an "ah" as it is played up a scale and down a scale to assess your vocal range.  A random four note pattern will be played on the piano that you will sing back on an "ah" to assess your ability to match pitch. A short question-and-answer period will follow.  That's it!  

 

It is your responsibility to be warmed-up prior to your audition.
