I am so excited you've decided to audition for the DHMS 2026-27 Treble Singers! This group is select vocalists who work hard to achieve amazing things, build friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

​

Audition applications consist of a series of four steps

that MUST be completed:

1. Text @27tsingaud to 81010 to join Remind (use a parent phone if needed)

​

2. Bring a current picture of yourself and a copy of your school transcripts to the Choir room before your audition.

3. Sign up for your individual audition time by clicking the button below

​All auditions will be held after school in the DHMS Choir Room

 Tuesday, March 24, 2026 and Wednesday, March 26, 2026

 3:00-6:00pm ​​

Please prepare a 60-second vocal solo showcasing your vocal abilities. Backtracks are allowed, but a sound system is not provided. Live accompaniment is encouraged but not provided, and singing your audition song a cappella is acceptable but not the best option.  

 

Your audition will also include a simple sight singing and rhythm passage (I don't expect perfection).  You will then be asked to follow the piano as it is played up a scale and down a scale and a random four note pattern to assess your vocal range and ability to match pitch. A short question-and-answer period will follow.  That's it!  

 

It is your responsibility to be warmed-up prior to your audition.

Remember: This is an audition--be prepared, look nice and do your best!
